I love this bag. The leather is beautiful. I generally like more pockets and particularly a pocket on the outside (for a phone) but I really like the one big compartment where you can see everything. I like it so much I bought it in 3 colors. The drop is perfect to fit over your shoulder with one hand (unlike the Melissa Tote). I don't think its too heavy, but my Mom did. The leather is *way* better than the hobo bags, which always get grungy looking very quickly. This is not the case with Frye bags.
